gegenwärtiger Song: Alles Liebe, alles Gute (Sportfreunde Stiller)

Today, Sunday, around lunchtime visited Andreas' Sister, Jana, and her friend, Ina. We 6 ate a very good meal of noodles, pork, mushrooms, and sauce. Afterwards, Andreas opened his gifts - some real nice clothes. His father had also bought each one of us an Advent Calendar - remember the ones with the windows you can open and find a piece of chocolate or something?  Auch dabei war ein Schrank.

Then 5 of us (Amir didn't come with) drove to Branitz Park, Where Fürst Pückler build his mansion (Schloss) and some Pyramids and gardens. I think I was the only one who'd been to the Park. Then we drove to the BTU so the girls could see that too. Back to the apt, we assembled the cabinet, which now sits in the Wohnzimmer (living/dining room). We also hung the Advent Calendars.

A very nice visit with very nice people.  I'll round my day out with some reading and maybe a movie.  It's all in the interest of improving my German, you understand!

Peace,

jc

  1. Totensonntag (Sunday in Commemoration of the Dead) is a German Protestant holiday. I think we can start on the calendars tomorrow, the day after Totensonntag.
